We have completed 2 of our 3 BIG assessments this year with much success. Our last state assessment will be in mid March.
Our class is currently listening to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix performed by Jim Dale. We have read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, watched the movies Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets, The Prisoner of Azkaban, and The Goblet of Fire--which we saw on big screen at the Potsdam Roxy. We are now on Book 5 and enjoying the fantastic, magical world of Harry Potter.
In early October, all grades 5 and 6 went to Camp Overlook 4-H for a day of cooperative learning. A good time was had by all!
This spring we plan to hike one of the Adirondack Mountains in our own backyard. We will hike with grades 6 and the 5/6.
Our end-of-the-year party will be in June at the Parishville Beach. Letters will be sent home when the date is decided upon.
