Course Description
The Computer 7 Class is a 10 week class designed to teach students the skills necessary to become self directed computer users. Instruction is in the form of guided practice. A wide variety of exercises are used to familiarize students with most common applications and file types. Although the class is mostly software based there is also a hardware component meant to familiarize students with the internal workings of a PC. The entire class is paperless with assignments being distributed and submitted electronically. Ethics and acceptable use are also stressed.

Assignments
Assignments are designed to be completed in one class period, they are available online from this web site and are to be submitted to me electronically.
Grading Policy
Grades are determined by promptness, correctness and ability to follow directions.
Rubrics
Assignments will be graded based on the following criteria
1.) Ability to follow directions (0-50)
2.) Completeness (0-40)
3.) Promptness (0-10)
