Lab Assistant
Course Description
Lab assistantships are a great way for students to experience the real world of computer repair while receiving computer credit or work experience on their transcript. As a lab assistant students are responsible for staying in close contact with Mr. Lalonde as to the state of the entire districts’ networking and computer hardware. Students must demonstrate an ability to work responsibly in an unsupervised environment with a minimal amount of guidance. Each Lab assistant must receive prior approval from Mr. Lalonde as often these lab assistantships are scheduled during other courses of instruction. Students involved quickly learn valuable interpersonal skills, the meaning of work ethic and develop high acceptable standards. These vary in credit based on the number of days they are working.
