Musicality 2014

Musicality was held on September 27th at the Parishville Fireman's Hall/Field. This was the third year for the fundraising event promoted by tenth grader Amanda Mason. The proceeds from this event will go to the PHCS music program. ( "With all the cutting of the school budgets I wanted to help out our Music Program. I feel music is an important part of our education." -Amanda )The day was full of music that was provided by local performers that included: Adirondack Folk Singer Roy Hurd, Crane Students, Amanda Mason, Northbound, PHCS students, Jack Kelleys Little Big Band, Lori White and Lori Knowles. There was a talent show (winners-Katelyn Dewey and Jacob Fisher), bake sale, door prizes, 50/50 raffle, silent auction, novelties, fun photo area, instrument petting zoo, music vendors, coloring table, face painting, Rosie's Hawg Dogs and St. Lawrence Valley Roasters Coffee. The weather was beautiful, the turn out was good and the day was fun for everyone. Amanda thanks everyone who came out to support the event and the volunteers/businesses who donated so much time and resources to help out with the program. The presentation to the music program is planned for the winter concert. Donations can still be made by mail to the PHCS Music Program/Musicality and mailed to the school.
